PRESS CONFERENCE

Concluded at Hermitage Last Night. Press Association—<x3pyrrght. The Hermitage, To-day. The Press Conference concluded at the Hermitage last night with the general meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors Association. , Mr. C. W. Earle, C.M.G., was re-elected president.

The conference has* been favoured with fine weather and although business occupied much of the delegate’s time, most of them found some opportunity of doing some sight-seeing. All are agreed that the conference v ‘as. one of the most successful yet held, and the provision made by the Mt. Cook Tourist Company for the conference was fully appreciated by most of the delegates who left for their homes to-day.
