STRATFORD AUTUMN SHOW.

Exhibitors are reminded that the date of the Stratford Show is March 12 and 13, just three weeks from Friday and Saturday next. Entries close on Thursday, March 4. Most of the season’s work is now completed and exhibitors will now have the spare time available for Show preparations. Special inducement is offered to the average dairy-farmer who is not a professional exhibitor. In the cattle section of the prize schedule there are classes for those who have not won a first prize in open competition. In these classes, the beginners will all meet on the same level. This ’innovation is to be commended, as, without a doubt, the right quality of cattle are with us. A little iducement only is required and new champions may be seen at the Stratford Autumn Show. We all have heard th& same old story (even at the Royal Show): “I baye just as good on the farm.” It is hoped that every farm will produce these likely candidates at the Stratford Autumn Show.

Every settler’s child has a pet calf. Many have one that has won or been placed in the numerous Calf CJub competitions held during the past few months. The ■ Stratford Autumn Show’ will be the convincing ground. Bring along' your best and prove to all that you have reared the supreme champion. If you have not yet received a schedule and are interested in any class of pedigree, grade or crossbred cattle, heavy or light horses, ring competitions, trotting, saddle or horness, pigs and slleep, communicate with the Secretary. Box 59, Stratford, and your want will be supplied.
