Maori Fell Into Hot Pool At Rotorua.

Press Association—Copyright. Rotorua, To-day. A Maori, Mutu Katene, aged 64, died in hospital from scalds received as a result of immersion in a hot thermal pool. Apparently Katene visited lhe hot pools at Ohinemutu and entered one. which was considerably hotter than the others. In consequence he was scalded. He was found crawling through the long grass >n the vicinity of Tarev.<a Road trying to attract attention. He was suffering from acute pain and was seriously scalded about the lower portion of his body. He was taken to hospital but succumbed to his' injuries.
