The Japanese Shipowners’ Association, alarmed by the British threat to Japanese shipping interests in the British Emple trade routes, held a meeting at Tokio to-day and discussed various counter-measures. It is reported that the N.Y.K. line fears Its position partieularl'y is menaced.
