Further Industrial Trouble In U.S.A. Press Association—Copyright. New 1 York, February 14. A message from Anderson, Indiana, says that industrial difficulties, centreing on the guide lamp plant of General Motors, retulted in a clash in which ten persons were injured and in the declaration, of martial law in the city and county, a 1000 National Guardsmen taking control of the area. They blockaded the roads to prevent the reported influx of members of the United Automobile Work ers’ Union by a motor cavalcade to assist the lamp workers to organise. Differences between the union and anti-union forces are responsible for the fighting.
