Prisoner Sentenced To Two Years In Bortal.

Clifford George Rammers, labourer and printer, aged 19, was found “guilty willi a very strong recommendation to mercy,” of knowingly being in possession of forged Reserve Bank £5 notes, of uttering four such notes and of attempting to utter one other. He vtss sentenced to-day by The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers; to two years detention in the Borstal institute. The Cihet Justice said that the prisoner was being shown the utmost leniency. In England such an offence was regarded as extremely serious,
