Favoured by fine v'gather after a Lome what; threatening morning, the Egmont Racing Club’s summer meeting opened with success at the Hawera racecourse yesterday. Directly after the Egmont Cup Woi tan, with P. Burgess riding, paraded i and did a working gallop over a cir cuit, running the last half mile in 535. He received an ovation.
