Lord Nuffield’s Gifts To New South Wales. Press Association—Copyright. Sydney, Feb. 11. On his arrival aboard the Orion today Lord Nuffield announced gifts to New South Wales large hospitals, deaf, dumb and blind institutions.', Fairbridge hemes and several philanthropic organisations totalling £40,000 i Hospitals for children have shared generously in the allocation, which has been worked out on a population basis. The major metropolitan hospitals 'will receive £2OOO to £5OOO each. Lord Nuffield told pressmen that he had received great assistance from Mr. Justice Halso Rogers, who was a fellow traveller, in preparing the list of gifts, working in conjunction with Mr. George A. Lloyd, who is Lord Nuffield’s representative in Australia and New Zealand.
