WATER RETICULATION.

New Mains Being Laid In Borough Streets.

The work of improving the town water supply is at present being continued and only a small section remains to be done to complete the reticulation scheme decided upon.

The re-laying of a main in Juliet street, between Pembroke road and Regan street, was completed yester. day. The three-inch pipes were taken out and replaced by the four-inch size. This morning ’Borough workmen were employed in Miranda street laying a new fourJinch tnain from

Regan street to Fenton street. A portion of Fenton street, between Miranda street and Broadway, ' will next be opened up and this will complete the year’s programme though if is possible that other small sections might bo done.
