The Russian Budget.

On January, 13 the Central Executive Committee of the Russian Soviets unanimously passed the Budget for 1937, which is balanced at approximately 98,000,004,000 roubles, with an estimated surplus of nearly 1,000,000,000 roubles, says “The Times.” Militarfy expenditure amounts to 20,102,000,000 roubles; education to 18,270,000,000 roubles. Nor can the | amount of the Budget be compared to the Budgets of other countries, because it includes l industry, commerce, and other branches Which they do not embrate.
