BOWLING POSTPONED
Wet Weather Spoilt Stratford Tournament. The one-day tournament arranged by the Stratford Bowling Club tor today had to be abandoned on account of the wet "weather. There was' a full muster of the nominated teams, and disappointment was expressed at the untortuate circumstances. The president (Mr H. Summerfield) and members of the committee of the club did everything possible to entertain the players in the intervals of adjournment, while waiting in the hope that the conditions would improve; but intermittent showers fell during the morning, and eventually it was arranged to make a final decision at 1J.30. At this stage the greens were flooded, rain was falling steadily, and play was impossible. It is understood tiiat the club will apply to the Bowling Centre for another dale foi the tournament, when fresh nominations will be called for.
