Norwegian Explorers Find New Possession. Press Association—Copyright. Received. 1 p.m. Oslo, February 8. Lars Christensen, a Norwegian at present exploring the Antarctic, has sent a wireless message from the whaler Thorshaven announcing that the aviator Viggo Wideroee had discovered a range of mountains whose highest peak was about 4500 feet, between the 35th and 40th degrees of longitude. Wideroee dropped the Norwegian flag from his .’plane when 38deg. E. and 69.30 deg. S., thereby assuming possession on behalf of Norway. He also mapped the newly-die-covered land.
