Thorston Hall,” by O. S. Macdonald (Selwyn and Blount).— A novel of the life of the farmers of the Lake District during the closing years' of the eighteenth century—the time when Wordsworh was a boy absorbing his impressions of Nature.
“Shadows' in Sunlight,” by Dorothy Wright (Hutchinson).—Joanna and Peter start their married life in the Welsh border country, but the gipsy strain in Peter’s blood rocks their love to its foundation.
“Love's Curse,” by Joan Conquest (Jarrolds). A Jove story in an Egyptian setting.
“Skin and Bones,” by Thorne Smith (Arthur Barker).— Quintus Bland set out to enjoy an evening and found himself: turned into a skeleton.
“The Line Riders.” by Christopher Cullery Ward, Lock and Co.). A Western story afid a detective story all in one.
