Two ’planes from the aircraft carrier, H.M.S. Glorious, collided in mid-air recently above the bows.' of the destroyer Courageous. One nosedived into the sea, killing Lieutenant G. A. Vardon and Telegraphist Bert Overall. The other machine was badly damaged but circled, a-while and then came down in the water
safely. Its occupants were unhurt
