SEALED ORDERS.

Sloop Sails For Unknown Destination. Under sealed orders from the High Commissioner for the Western Pacific, Sir Arthur Richards, H.M.S. Leith sailed out of Suva shortly a.* er .6 pm. on January 25, bound on a mission of secrecy. Her destination has not yet bee n officially announced, but it is conjectured in Fiji that the sloop’s cruise may nave connection' with a possible route across the Pacific, either for Imperial Airways, or for Pan-American Airways, and certain islands, which are regarded as British possessions. The Leith sailed from Auckland in the previous Aveek, it being officially announced that she was bound on “her autumn cruise.” Previous to that it had been stated that the ship would sail on a cruise embracing the South and Stewart Blands. However, advice has now been received announced, at 1.30 p.m. on January that the vessel arrived at Suva un--25, and sailed the same evening, taking with her Mr Oscar Barrack, a wireless operator in the employ of the Fiji Government. In addition she took on board a quantity of stores and equipment.
