Montreal, Feb, 3.

A message from Willow Springs, Missouri, says that Robert Kenyon, described by the police as l a hoodlum, led the authorities to the body of Dr. J. B. Davis, who disappeared a week ago and w-as held for 5000 dollars ransom. The family received a note in the doctor’s handwriting and reported it to tbe police. Kenyon confessed that he lured the physician into captivity pretending that he was l a sick man on a lonely farm and needed medical attention. Then he killed him.

Kenyon was removed to prevent being lynched by the aroused populace as Dr. Davis was noted for his l benevolence.
