McPhillips, J.s P. in the New Plymouth Court to-day, to a charge of committing bigamy and wat cominit- ' ted for sentence to the sitting of the Supreme Court on February 22. -SUCCESSFUL SHEEP FAIR. There was a record yarding of over 7600 sheep at the opening sale of Newton King Ltd.’s Eastern Taranaki series of sheep fairs. Buying was keen and prices were well up to market values. Top price was realised by a line of 103 two-tooth ewes submitted on behalf of Mr. J. Law, Konaratahi. Four and five-year ewes were in demand, and ewe lambs were also keenly sought after.
