The Manawatu Jersey Breeders’ Club’s £5OO Jersey Oaks concluded at the Feilding Show to-day. There were 21 entrants in the competition for purebred Jersey heifers in milk born between .July 1 and December 31. 1933. Each animal to qualify must have been awarded either a first or second class C.O.R.

The entries comprised a magnificent range of cream Jersey herds in the Wellington and Taranaki provinces. The first prize of £350 was divided between C. B. Lepper (Lepperton) and H. J. Lancaster Levin), with 93 points each. The third prize went to W. Crosby (Waipuku), 90 j points; fourth, £4O, J. Murray (Woodville); fifth, £3O, C. G. C. Dormer (Feilding), 90 points; sixth, £2O, J. Klenner (Inglewood), 89J points; seventh, £lO, J. Bones (Kaipaki), 89 points.
