Moderate In Comparison With Last Year.

Stratford weather for the past month has been regarded as most unsatisfactory but figures supplied by Mr A. W. Burrell show that in comparison with January of 1936, the district has had its full share of fine days for the first month of the year.

In January, 1935, a total of 8.23 inches was recorded, while for last month the fall was only 5.55 inches. The heaviest rain was experienced on Tuesday 5/when 1.15 inches fell and on Saturday 9, when 1.08 inches were recorded.
