Ruling Of Importance Given By Minister. Press Association—Copyright. Christchurch, January 28. A ruling of importance to applicants for relief under the Mortgagors and Lesseees Rehabilitation Act was conveyed by telegram to the Canterbury Law Society by the AttorneyGeneral, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason, this morning. Mr. Mason declares that applications may be lodged without accompanying statements and suggests that although he cannot give an interpre- . tation whether these applications will be held good, that it would would beti ter to file without statements rather ■ than not to file at all by January 31, the date on which the applications close.
