Keen Competition At Cardiff and Midhirst.
Although somewhat affected on some courts by a gusty wind play in the second round of the Petrie Shield Competition matches on Saturday reached a good standard. Cardiff and Stratford B and Radnor and Midhirst were well matched but Stratford A were too strong for Ngaere and Methodist B were never in the running with Douglas. Results are:— Stratford A beat Ngaere. Douglas beat Methodist B. Cardiff beat Stratford B. Radnor beat Midhirst.
