Complete agreement on all matters relating to technical method's to be employed especially hi regard to aviation was reached. The matters discussed included times of observations, codes for wireless broadcasts, and information to be supplied to pilots, research officers, etc. The conference will result in the aviation services operating In Africa obtaining meteorological information understandable by all nationalities, irrespective of language. The services hope, after their resolutions are ratified by the central committee and respective Governments, to bring uniformity Into operation early nent year. Tlie commission is considered to have achieved a striking success In international cooperation, bringing within view the issue of a daily synoptic chart for al. Africa.
