DANCER BORN. Even though she isn't working yet in M-G-M’s. “Born to Dance.” youthful Juanita Quigley is a daily visitor on the set, and enjoys sitting quietly in her chair watching Eleanor Powell dance because she wants to be a tap dancer too. ALL-STAR CRICKET,. Frank Lawton and his cricket team The British Film Group, will play a match with an all-star Californian team. Those playing with Lawton are C. Aubrey Smith, David Niven, Niger Bruce and H. B. Warner. The game will be played in the near future. BETWEEN SCENES. Robert Montgomery and Frank Morgan have been staging a backgammon contest between scenes for M-G-M’s “Piccadilly Jim.” The contest is now in its fourth vzeek. At the same time, between scenes for “The Gorgeous Hussy,” Franchot Tone and Melvyn Douglas engaged in a tense chess contest which lasted more than a wefek.
