INCARNATES COMMUNITY
The True Meaning Of the Office Of Kingship. Press Association—Copyright. Received 11.30 a.m.' London, January 21. The Archbishop of York, when addressing the Convocation, said that the Coronation is thb dedication ot the King and his Consort to the service of God. The King incarnates the community. That is the true meaning of his office. He is not simply the chief officer of the State, but the community is focused in his person, which is impossible in the case of an elected personage. A later message states that in the Upper House of the York Convocation it was resolved that the Bishop should decide the question of admission to the Sacraments of divorced persons who remarried during the lifetime of their former partner. It was also decided that the use of the marriage service should not be allowed to anyone whose former partner was living.
