EXTORTION CASE.
Hungry Man Tried Extortion On Child Film Stars. Press Association—Copyright. Hollywood, Jan. 19. David Harris Weazend, aged 47 • years, an ex-convict, voluntarily surrendered to police in connection with attempts to extort money from June Withers and Freddie Bartholomew’, both child stars. He said, “I was hungry and figured it was an easy way j to make money. There was no gang. I lam the whole gang.”
