LESS MIGRATION.
Proposal By Secretary Of State For Dominions. Press Association —Copyright. London, Jan. 19. A small attendance of members of the House of Commons listened today with disappointment to the proposal of Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, Dominions Secretary, to cut down the amount perriTssible for the British Government to spend on migration by half. Mr. MacDonald indicates that the Empire Settlement Act would be extended for a further 15 years.
