ITALO-GERMAN REPLY
ON NON-INTERVENTION
CHANGES FORESEEN. As Result Of Volunteers Being Naturalised. Press Association—Copyright. London, January 19. The Italo-German reply to the British Note may be drastically revised because of the Spanish Government’s naturalisation law, which, according to Italian reports, tranforms foreign volunteers fighting for the Spanish Government into bogus Spaniards, says the correspondent of the Morning Post at Rome. The French Government is alleged to have had previous knowledge of the Spanish manoeuvre, which Italian, opinion denounces as a “complete fraud." The chairman of the sub-commit-tees of the Non-Intervention Commit-
tee met at the Foreign Office yesterday and considered further steps that may be required to put into operation the scheme of supervision designed to secure the application ot the non-intervention agreement. The committee resumed consideration ot the report on the possibility of extending the agreement to cover the supply of financial aid to either of the two parties in Spain.
