Children Dancing At Shows and Sports.

The practice of parents taking their children away from school to allow them to compete in dancing events at shows and sports was complained of by Mr Geo. Pascoe, attendance officer of the Taranaki Education Board ,ln the Stratford Court this morning. For failing to send her child to school Ada Cox was fined 5s (costs 10s). Herbert. Winmill was- convicted and ordered to pay costs Is for a similar offence.
