“Emperor Of Styledom” If Not “Emperor Of India”

Press Association —Copyright. Chicago, Jan. 18.

Delegates to the convention of the men’s clothing industry agreed that the Duke of Windsor cannot abdicate the throne of “Emperor of Styledom.” They expressed the same enthusiasm as they have felt for years and said that, King or not, he is still the nearest approach to a world arbiter ot men’s styles. The president of one of the leading companies said: “Edward has an appealing personality, good looks, and an impeccable taste. Al&ough he introduces many innovations, whatever he wears is appropriate to the occasion. We agree that he has a perfect sense of style.”
