Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, Today
Instructions have reached the Wellington office of Thomas Cook and Son to refrain from booking without confirmation any further seats along the line of tae route of the coron-
ation procession in London on May 12 next. That message is interpreted to mean that, though there may be a few seats left at a certain price, there will be no difficulty In disposing of them long before May. The lowest price for which a seat may be secured through local channels at present is 18 guineas.
At least one real at 50 guineas and several at 20 guineas have been booked in New Zealand during recent weeks.
Steamer accommodation for the trip to England, arriving there in
time for the coronation festivities.
which extend over a month, is growing limited. That does not mean that there are no berths left on some of the steamers, but the bookings are very heavy.
An inquiry was made as to whether there had been any cancellations of bookings on account ot the change of Kings. As far as Thomas Cook and Son are concerned not one passage booked in New Zealand has been cancelled.
