The child’s mother said that she was separated from her husband, who had demanded money from her from time to time. ‘ ‘ My father came to me and demand ed money, ” the little girl said to the magistrate (Mr Marshall). “But I could not think of any way of getting it until I saw the frock in my aunt’s “I took it away, and gave the 10s. 1 obtained from a pawnbroker to my father.” She said that her father had demanded money from her on other occasions, and she had given him sums which she obtained from her mother.
