Ewe Lambs In Keen Demand This Week. Business in the store sheep section is now in full swing and great buoyancy is being displayed, state Messrs Newton King, Ltd., in their weekly stock market report. The recent advance in lamb and wool values has. encouraged speculative buying and lambs are keenly sought after. Good woolly ewe iambs have shown the most marked appreciation, but in wether lambs the demand is strongest for medium and cully sorts. There is a tendency for the values of genuine aged ewes to harden. Cattle 1 ., The abundance of feed at present is causing a demand for store cattle that is abnormal at. this time of the year. Quotations of well-bred cattle arc few and as a result the average numbers of Jersey sorts that are being offered meet with strong competition.
