Foreign And Spurious Coins Were Accepted In Rush. Press Association—Copyright. Received 11 a.m. ■■ Melbourne, Today. Although the Third Test concluded a week ago, the gate takings are still being counted by a staff of 24. The amount received will be reduced by approximately £3O representing spurious coins which were accepted in the tremendous rush at the turnstiles. Coins from France, America, India and South Africa were accepted, as were counterfeit florins, shillings and sixpences.
