VISITING BOWLERS.

Queensland Party Make Tour Of Dominion. Under the leadership of Mr F. C. Ker, honorary secretary of the Isis Bowling Club, Childers, in South Queensland, a party of 21 bowlers from Queensland arrived by the Awatea to make a comprehensive tour of th e Dominion. They will return to Australia by the Awatea from Wellington on February 9. : For many years Mr Arthur Parker, ! of Auckland, has been to Queensland to play bowls and many times has urged a return visit. This is th e first time it has been possible to arrange such a tour. The party > is known as the Queensland Tour- i ist Bowlers. The itinerary to be : undertaken' includes both the North : and the South Islands. The bowlers < will be in Auckland until Thursday, ; when they leave for Hamilton, Roto- : rua, Wanganui, Palmerston North ' and Wellington. From there they ; will go to Christchurch, travelling south to Invercargill, stopping on the ; way back at Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. From Christchurch again • ■ they will go to Grey mouth and West- ' | port, on the West Coast, travelling ! | north through Nelson.
