LAMB FAIR.

3800 Yarded Yesterday At Kohuratahi. The Farmers’ Co-op. report that the Kohuratahi Lamb Fair on Tuesday created a good deal of interest, with the result that 3800 lambs were yarded. A good attendance of buyers from the outside districts, mainly from South Taranaki, were present, and good prices were realised. The following are the prices: Good Romney store wether lambs, 17/10, 16/9; medium store lambs 15/9, 15/3; cull and sale Romney lambs, 14/- down to 11/7; good black-faced lambs, 19/3, 18/8, others 17/- and 16/-, according to condition. There were only a few pens offered in the ewe lamb section, competition being very keen. Medium ewe latnbs realised 27/8, 27/6: others 26/8 and 26/-, with culls at 20/6.
