| SATURDAY HOLIDAY. ( The adoption of a Saturday statuj tory half-holiday was decided on by the Egmont County Council at a special meeting yesterday. At about the same time the Whangamomona County Council was re-afflrming Its decision not to change from Thursday half-holiday, which has always been observed in the East Taranaki district. HOSPITAL RADIO. A total of £250 12s 3d has now been subscribed to the Stratford Hospital Radio Fund. Yesterday the following list was received (per Mrs A. W. Mapp, of i Midhirst): M. Davis ss, A.
