HERR HITLER ON PEACE
TO ALL NATIONS. PROGRESS OF EUROPE Independent Economic Existence Would Be Guarantee. Press Association—Copyright. Received Noon. Berlin, January 11. Herr Hitler, at the Hindenburg Palace, conducted a series of New Year receptions. M. Poncet, one of the leading diplomats, hoped that the year would bring real peace to all nations. Hitler replied that the cares of the present time should be a warning to all peoples and an inducement to recognise in time the dangers threatening the peace and progress of Europe, and to work determinedly for a real understanding and conciliation among the nations. This alone would give all countries the possibility of independent economic existence, and would thus be the safest guarantee for the welfare and progress of humanity.
