Fatality On Wellington Beach Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, Last Night. Fishing from Boom Rock at Makara early on Saturday afternoon, a Petone dental surgeon, Mr Thomas Alexander Jones, was swept from his foothold by a. wave and carried away. The efforts of a companion to save him proved unavailing. Although members of the fishing party searched until dark tliebody was not re covered.
