RAILWAY EXCURSIONS. The excursion train from Taumarunui to New Plymouth yesterday carried about 190 pasengers. On the Hawera-N w Plymouth train there were about 70. MOUNTAIN HOUSE VISITORS. Due to weather conditions the Stratford mountain hostel exper’e”c el a fairly quiet week-end. One South Island party tramped from the plateau to Dawson Falls and back.
