Stratford Players In Rinks Competition.

Rinks skipped by Dickinson (Avon) and Skoglund (Stratford) each had two wins in the first two rounds of section play in the rinks competition ot the New Zealand Bowling Championships at Wellington. Stratford results of yesterday's play were:

First round: Williams (Stratford) lost to Wells (Hataitai), 23-26; Dickinson (Avon) beat Englebretsen (Napier), 29-24: Clark (Stratford) lost to Wilson (Linwood), 20-25; Skoglund (Stratford) beat Efford (Edgeware), 33-12.

Second sound: Williams (Stratford) lost to Bolton (Victoria), 11-22; Dickinson (Avon) beat Locke (Khandallah), 27-26; Clark (Stratford) beat Mattor (Foxton), 23-19; Skoglund (Stratford) beat Thomas (Park, Hawera) ,29-15.
