Y oung—McCluggage
At St. Andrew? s Presbyterian Church, Stratford, on Saturday, December 26, Maisiet Jean, second daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. J. McCluggage, Stratford, was married to Francis James, second son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Mclntosh Young. The Rev. J. Paterson performed the ceremony and Miss Rene Taylor played the wedding music. White and purple flowers were used in decorating the dhurch. The bride, who was esco.ted by her brother, Mr. T. McCluggage, Auckland, wore a frock of white a<v cordeon-pleated georgette. The bridal veil was held in place with a stray of white gardenias caught at the back. Lillies and maidenhair fern were used for the bouquet. Awaiting the bride ii?( tlhe porch was her sister, Miss Molly McCluggage. As bridesmaid she wore mauve ninon trimmed with purple pansies and velvet ribbon. Her bouquet! consisted of mauve and purple flowers. A reception was held at the residence of the brides mother, who to receive the guests wore a becoming frock of navy and bright bluei silk crepella with a hat to match. She carried a posy of blue love-in.the-midst and cinerarias. Mrs. Young, t/he lbrideg|room’s mother, wore a smart navy-blue frock relieved with white, with a hat to tone. Her bouquet comprised pink roses and begonias and asparagus fern. When the bride left on her honeymoon she was wearing a. smart pink model frock with a grey coat and hat shbess and gloves being to match.
