DECREASE IN ACCIDENTS.

Stratford Inquest Figures For 1936. Only eight inquests were held in the Stratford District during 1936 compared with 11 in 1935, according to figures supplied to the “Central Press” by the Coroner, Mr. W. L. Kennedy. The decrease in the number of fatal accidents is a marked one. In 1935 there were 6 fatal accidents, one caused by a motor. In 1936 there were only 3 fatal accidents, none of which was caused by a motor. Heart failure which caused three deaths in 1935 caused four in 1936. There were two suicides in 1935 and one in 1936, all effected by shooting
