The British Ambassador in Spain has been instructed to call the attention of the Burgos authorities to the Blackhill incident. The Spanish Ambassador at London states that the German warships Koningsberg and Koln have both arrived at Santona. The British United Press correspondent says the Koningsberg was outside the harbour when the Soton was taken in . The British United .Press correspondent at Santander says that the German cruiser Konigsberg seized, off Santona, the Spanish merchantman Marta Junquera, on her way to Santander from Bilbao with foodstuffs, and refused to release her, despite the presence of loyalist submarines. The Governor of Santander has wirelessed the Koningsberg’s commander to demand the vessel’s Government, otherwise the aggression Government, otherwise the agfression may provoke serious measures.
