RED, WHITE AND BLUE. French Attempt To Corner Market. London, Dec. 5. Already we have- had Coronation hair styles, Coronation flower schemes, and Coronation dross colours. N'ow come Coronation fish, says Reynolds News. Experts have nicknamed them “Coronation” fish, because of their red, white, and blue markings. They a.-re t'he most exotic and expensive fish in London, and also the tinictst. They fetch £3 a pair! French aquarists discovered the fish, and are trying to keep their source a secret to corner the market. It is thought that they come from the Amazon. In France they are called “Tetra Neons.” Their official name is Hyphessobrycon Inn e si—almost as long as the fish themselves! By Train Ferry. Mir D. Pope, the Weymouth Street aquarist, managed to buy a small number, and had .them sent over in the ndw train ferry. Great was Mr Pope’s consternation when he .saw his precious fish. They had lost nearly all their colour, and looked very sorry for themselves! . However, when the .temperature of the water had been corrected, they quickly cheered up, and took on again the brilliant hues for which they are famed.
