Improvements to Tote and Ground. As it has not been possible to have the new totalisator house erected before the New Year meeting, the committee of the Stratford Racing Club have had minor alterations made to the present building, which, it is considered, will facilitate the handling of the large volume of business that is expected. Recent improvements carried out on the grounds include the construction of new horse-boxes to replace those wrecked in the recent storm, and the repainting of the fence surrounding the lawn, of the numberboard, and of the ticket-boxes and i turnstiles.
