1 -T o Men Put Off In American Motor Works. Press Association—Copyright. Detroit, December 19. For the announced putting off of 10,000 men due to a shortage of brake drums from the Kelsey Wheel Company, where a strike has entered on the fourth day, the United Automobile Workers’ Union states that the number put off is nearer 20,000. Lack of parts has also curtailed activities of the Ford assembly plant ’at Buffalo. A check-up showed that 2200 workers are idle at the Buffalo plant due to lack of material resulting from the Detroit strikes. ~ I:/
