A further drop of 4s to 100 s for choicest New Zealand salted butter with the market lifeless was a depressing feature of a United Press Association cablegram received from London yesterday afternoon. Australian has fallen from 101 s to 102 s with a drop to 98s and Danish has declined in sympathy from 115 s to 114 s. For the third week in succession the New Zealand figure is beneath the basic guaranteed price of 12.56 d per ib, being equivalent to 11.76 d per lb f.o.b. New Zealand coloured and white cheese remain unaltered at from 63s to 63s 6d with Australian quoted at 61s to 625. The cabled quotations received yesterday were; Butter, Danish Ills, choicest salted Nexv Zealand 10.0 s, Australian 98s, unsalted New Zealand 100 s, Australian 104 s. The quotations are mainly nominal and there are few sales. Cheese: White and coloured New Zealand 63s to 63s 6d, Australian 61s to 625. The market is quiet.
