(By "Shot Put.”) *ffie club night held by the Eltham Athletic Club on Tuesday again demonstrated the fact the Eltham plufc, although not at present, among the strongest competitors in the Taranaki senior athletic field. It has perhaps the best prospects of any club in the district for the next few years. To compensate for the thinness of the senior ranks the club has a plentitude of enthusiastic junior talent and is thus in a very healthy position and likely to develop as time goes on.
