OTAKI MEETING “Odds On’ Reviews Fields * For Saturday. The Otaki Maori Racing Club’s meeting will be held on Saturday, December 19. Fair fields are carded, a review of acceptors being supplied by “Odds On.’’ For the Maiden six-furlong event Southern Blood may carry chief support. Trimden has most experience with two placings, whilst Party, Mea Mea, and Gay Ruby have had good recent performances. Horses possibly placed may be — SOUTHERN BLOOD TRIMDEN PARTY. Beau Gallante, top-weight in the I’uketoi Hack Hurdles, run over one and a half miles, justifies being the. probable public choice, but may find Otauru King and Midacre disputing the decision at the post. Count Willonyx may upset them. The others do not appeal. The result may be: MIDACRE BEAU GALLANTE COUNT WILLONYX.

The Pukekaraka Hack Handicap may find Mittie sorted out a strong fancy. Vonia Park, credited with good track work, may succeed, whilst Golden Chest and Mazzini are distinct possibilities. Going Gay should not be long now and with Royal Solo possesses chances. Place-getters may be: ' VONIA PARK. j MITTIE GOLDEN CHEST. The Rere Nekitiui Memorial, run over one and a quarter miles, creates increased interest with the inclusion of two Auckland Cup candidates in Cuddle and Sunee, both showing splendid track work. Martara is also there to extend them, whilst Ilazoor, Hunting Queen and Terry are dangerous opponents, the latter having refused acceptance in the hack mile. Limbohm and Hunting Mars can hardly be expected to be ready. Greatest appeal is made by CUDDLE MARTARA SUNEE. The Otaki Hack Handicap, over seven furlongs, appears a three-horse race. The improving Export is suited by the distance, whilst Essex may require another furlong or more. Cricket, with only a few pounds above should be in the finish.
