Wishing All A Merry Xmas.
’Tis a pleasant task —wishing'all our readers a Merry Christmas. Christmas time is a period when anxieties are . forgotten, when the world becomes a good place to live in, and when the spirit of peace and understanding is abroad. Human fellowship and human sympathies are at this time of the year more unreservedly expressed than at other times. Personal differences are forgotten in the atmosphere of goodwill, an atmosphere created 1936 years ago, when a little child was born in Bethlehem.
Practical thinkers look upon this Christmas as possessing rich potentialities. The depression has passed, business is back again to levels of prosperity, a spirit of optimism is in the air. So, if happiness is the portion of humanity, let us seize upon it this Christmas. Ring out the year with joy and laughter; ring in the new year with good-fellowship and good cheer.
